Our Mission:

Glorify God by growing Biblical, committed and loving followers of Jesus Christ, by His Mercy, our Worship, Witness and Life Together.

Our Vision:

The vision of Lord of Life is to be a caring and growing Christian family that exists for the sake of others, a church that intentionally cultivates the work of Christ and the growth of His kingdom in our local community, our region and the world.

Our Staff:

Pastor Trevor Freudenburg

Pastor Trevor Freudenburg grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska (Go Huskers!) where he attended Christ Lutheran School for elementary school, and Lutheran High Northeast for high school. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Hillsdale, Michigan to attend Hillsdale College.  While at college, he met his wife, Hannah.  Upon graduating from Hillsdale in 2013, the Freudenburg’s moved to South Korea, where he taught English in the public school system for one year.  After one year in Korea, they moved to St. Louis so Trevor could attend Concordia Seminary.  After his initial two years at the seminary, the Freudenburg’s moved to Colorado for his vicarage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lakewood, Colorado (a suburb of Denver).  In the fall of 2017, the Freudenburg’s returned to St. Louis after his vicarage at Bethlehem.  Their daughter, Violet, was born in the spring of 2018.  Instead of accepting a Divine Call, the Freudenburg’s decided to stay in St. Louis, so that Pastor could pursue his Master of Sacred Theology degree.

Pastor’s first Divine Call was to Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City, IA.  The Freudenburg’s welcomed their second daughter, Beatrice, in June of 2021.  Pastor accepted the Divine Call from Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Chesterfield, Missouri and was installed as its sole pastor in February of 2023.
