ave an opportunity to help special children in the newly established Hogares Lutheranos El Buen Pastor (Good Shepherd Lutheran Homes) in the Dominican Republic. Several members of the congregation traveled to the Dominican Republic this past spring and witnessed first hand the needs of and opportunities for these children. More recently, the congregation heard from Pastor Ted Krey who is the Director of Latin American Missions for The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Pastor Krey told us of the remarkable progress the children are making as a result of the care and attention they are being given in the Good Shepherd Home. Lord of Life is completely accessible. Special handicap parking areas, no steps, large entryways, large print bulletins, and hearing assistance devices for worshipers are some of what makes us accessible.
